Augusta-Richmond County consolidation records
This collection includes news clippings, professional correspondence, subcommittee reports, publications and studies, memos and minutes of meetings, as well as drafts and summaries of charters and amendments. It also includes pamphlets and a button pin. The collection documents the movement from 1968 to 1976 to consolidate Augusta and Richmond County into a single entity, as well as the community reactions to this attempt.

The Augusta-Richmond County vertical files collection contains information on a range of local organizations, families, and individuals. Most files contain pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, and/or photocopies of historical documents. The collection is no longer being actively added to, but can serve as a historical resource for topics related to the history of the Augusta area.

Authors Club of Augusta minutes
Materials consist of minutes of Authors Club meetings from 1933 - 2008 a copy of the current constitution, a copy of the incorporation of the Jean Dewitt Fitz Memorial Fund, newsletters, and flyers from the Sandhills Writers' Conference, short autobiographies from Louise Shivers and Elizabeth Dettuff.and a photocopy of the handwriteen manuscript fo "A Saga of the Authors' Cllub of Augusta Georgia from 1928-1975" . The minutes have gaps in the run.

Beauregard Manassas Quick-Step sheet music
Manuscript consists of four pages possibly produced by mimeograph. The title indicates that this was written in honor of Civil War General P.G.T. Beauregard in the quick-step genre, a type of march with a suggested tempo of 116 MM. Material shows an ownership mark of THE FLOWERS COLLECTION in the upper right corner of the title page. There is doubt that this is an original copy. It may be a reproduction.
