Frances Manning Achurch papers
First manuscript is The Korea I Liked written by Frances Manning Achurch. Gives a first hand account of her life while stationed with her husband in Korea. Second manuscript is entitled Escape From Korea written by William C. Achurch. This is Achurch’s account of the withdrawl of the U.S. Coast Guard from Korea. The newspaper articles are from papers in Augusta and possibly Barnwell, South Carolina.

Fred Parker Farrar glass plate negatives
This collection is comprised of glass plate negatives of photographs of the Augusta area, taken by Fred Parker Farrar from 1902-1918. Fred Parker Farrar (1883-1981) was an amateur photographer and businessman in Augusta, Georgia during the early 20th century.The collection includes two series: Series I includes images of individuals, or portraits; Series II includes images of the Augusta area.
