This collection is comprised of a single copy of the travel diary of Dr. Joseph Adams Eve from June 9- August 19, 1873. The diary describes Eve's travel through England, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Italy, and Scotland.

In some instances the material is from the World War I Alice Stewart Letters (mss 83-21) and in some instances it is supplemental material pertaining to the World War I Alice Stewart Letters.

A copy of a Civil War diary written by E.W. Herman. The diary details the life of Herman for his three years serving as a Union soldier in the 7th Iowa Infantry Regiment between 1961 to 1964.

Consists of foreign editions of Marshall’s best known works. Donor believed to be Edison Marshall Jr.

Material consists of a personal letter with envelope, 2 newspaper clippings, correspondence from Mr. Roberts to Camilla Reid, Associate Director Reese Library Augusta State University which establishes the provenance of the materials and 5 of Marshall’s novels; 4 inscribed to Cecil Etheridge Jackson and one to Agnes Jackson

contains first, working and final drafts of a selection of Marshall’s books, plays and short stories as well as photographs.  Contains notes and drafts by Edison Marshall Jr. for a biography of his father as well as the draft and bound copy of Marshall Jr.’s master’s thesis.

Materials consist mostly of postcards depicting various views of Augusta Georgia.  The largest two series of postcards cover the 1908 flood and the 1916 fire.  Also included are four photographs, several newspaper clippings and two anniversary programs from St. John Methodist Church; the sesquicentennial of the church and the one hundredth anniversary of the Sunday School
