This collection is comprised of meeting minutes, a roll book, and general research materials related to the Clinch Rifle Company. The collection also contains photcopies of the meeting minutes and roll books for patron use. Research materials are comprised of correspondence about the publishing process of the roll book, as well as photocopied miscellaneous newspaper clippings about the military company.

These two issues announce the surrender of Lee and his army (25 April and the assassination of Licoln (26 April). There are announcements of regulations by the military to the citizens, and outher news advertisements.

Chronicles the organization's activities, including shooting matches, prizes, awards, correspondence concerning property, election of officers, lists of members. The DS Club was a men's sporting organization oringlly composed of members of Augusta's German commounity. The minutes are in German for the most part. The Schuezen Platz,ownedby the club, was a well known recreation park. 35th annual meating held on feb. 13, 1908 turned from German to English.
