This collection is comprised of research material documenting the history of Catholicism in the Augusta area, along with several Augusta landmarks. More specifically, the collection is complied histories of St. Patrick's church, Sacred Heart Church, and Augusta landmarks such as Steven's Creek and Daniel Field.

Biographical / Historical

Eileen Heffernan Stulb (1923-2007) was an American amateur golfer and catholic. Born in Augusta, Georgia to Marion C. Stulb and Eileen Anna Heffernan Stulb, she finished twice at the Titleholders Championship in 1942 and 1946. She also competed in the U.S. Women's Open in 1951 and was a two-time champion of the Georgia State Women's Amateur Tournament. Additionally, Stulb owned an advertising agency in Augusta and was an active member of the Catholic community in the city.
