Abstract

A book given to Octavia Walton LeVert by her grandmother, Eliza Walker, in 1821. The title of the book is Female Biography or, Memories of Illustrious and Celebrated Women.

Scope and Contents Collection consists of  one book and some correspondence between the Middle Georgia Archives and Reese Library and a photocopy of a photograph. The volume itself is a published "friendship album," entitled Mental Photographs, and was published by Henry Holt and Company in 1875. Scope and Contents

The folder contains contains a letter of nomination, nomination form and supporting material for Julia Arma Flisch’s nomination to 1993 Georgia Women of Achievement.  The supporting material contains a research paper written by Robin O. Harris titled, Julia A. Flisch Georgia Educator and Feminist.
