Biographical or Historical Information
David Meyer was born circa 1801-1805 in South Carolina, the son of David Meyer and Helen Miller. He married Ruth "Ruthy" Hankinson, and the couple had at least 6 children: Louisa Meyer (born 1831), Frances Meyer (born 1836), Betsy Meyer (born 1838), Christopher Columbus "Kit" Meyer (born 1840), Isabella Meyer (born 1842), Harrietta Meyer (born 1844).
