Pinetucky Homecoming records
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised o fmaterials generated as part of the Pinetucky Homecoming hosted by Fort Gordon on October 29, 1989. The Pinetucky Homecoming commemorated the relocation of the residents in the area known as Pinetucky to allow for the construction of Fort Gordon in the early 1940s. The collection includes notes on Pinetucky, a biographical sketch of Andrew Edwin Inglett, an oral Interview transcript between Kathy R. Coker, Deputy Command Historian and Mrs. Emma Meyers (1991), and 2 questionnaires: "Welcome Home to Fort Gordon Participants" and "Command Historian Office."
