The Pinetucky Homecoming commemorated the relocation of the  residents in the area known as Pinetucky to allow for the construction of Fort Gordon in the early 1940s. Material covers documentation of a grant to fund a series of events to commemorate the anniversary of a historical court ruling.  The material consists of 5 folders covering the grant application and award of the grant, general correspondence in arranging the series of events, historical background, photocopies of newspaper articles deemed relevant to the project, publicity materials and photographs.
