Scope and Contents
A collection of 3 anonymous diaries that chronicle and document life in Augusta between 1857-1896. Two of the diaries (1891 and 1896) of photocopies of the original primary source material. The diary from 1857 is the original physical copy.

Method of Acquisition
"Transfer" All of these materials were transfered to Augusta University Reese Library Special Collections from Waynesboro public library 600 South Wayne Ave, Waynesboro, Va on December 5th 1988 except 1983.59 was transfered from the Augusta Richmond County Museum in December of 1983. Acc# 1983.59 and 1983.59.01 and 1983.02
