Anonymous Diary collection
A collection of 3 anonymous diaries that chronicle and document life in Augusta between 1857-1896. Two of the diaries (1891 and 1896) of photocopies of the original primary source material. The diary from 1857 is the original physical copy.
Florence Fleming Corley memoir
This collection is comprised of the single manuscript memoir of Florence Fleming Corley, which records her experiences of World War II while growing up in the American South.
Henry S. Dortic Correspondence
This collection is comprised of typed letters written by Henry S. Dortic of the 48th regiment of the Confederacy to his mother, who resided in Augusta, Georgia from March to June 1862. These lettes cover his experiences in the regiment, as well as the sociocultural environment of the American Civil War. Collection also contains several handwritten pages of Civil War research from an unknown source.
