The United Daughters of the Confederacy is a hereditary association of Southern women established in 1894. The stated purpose of the organization is to commemorate Confederate soldiers, and one of the organization's main activities is to erect monuments to these men. Date span: 1897-1933

This collection consist of records of Chapter No. 22 (Augusta, GA) of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The records include minutes, scrapbooks containing mostly newspaper clippings, and membership applications for Chapter 22, Children of the Confederacy.
