Biographical / Historical
Colonel Arthur Grabowski was a Polish immigrant who settled in Augusta, Georgia. He served in the military for more than 50 years, holding several important positions, including Officer in Charge of Supplies for the Confederate Army on General Robert E. Lee’s staff.
