Biographical or Historical Information
From 2006-2008, Reese Library Special Collections volunteers organized the photographs in the collection by subject, and scanned this collection for use in an internal database. The provenance of the photos is unclear, though it is likely that many were removed from the scrapbooks they were originally housed in.
Many of the photographs in this collection were used by Dr. Helen Callahan and Ray Rowland in their Pictorial Histories of Augusta.
