Newspaper clipping featuring an image of the Confederate monument on Broad Street. Caption reads: "As a mark of tribute to the valor and honor of the Confederate Soldier this beautiful shaft was erected in Augusta largely through the efforts of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. The monument has just recently been beautified by the municipal government by the addition of the ornamental lights and the lawn. It is one of the beauty spots of Augusta."
