This collection consists of handwritten speeches presented at the 1875-1877 meetings of the Augusta Library and Medical Society.

Collection is comprised of minutes, scrapbooks, yearbooks, comprehensive histories, and general adminstrative materials documenting the Augusta chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) since its inception in 1892.

The collection also contains invitations for Colonial Dames national events, along with the society's bylaws.

This collection is comprised of the ledger book of the Pioneer, Hook, and Ladder Company, which contains the company's constitution, bylaws, and minutes from 1854-1869, as well as a folder of materials related to the Augusta Fire Department from 1864-1867.
