Letters written from soldiers to Alice F. Stewart, a nurse in the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I (WWI).  Bulk of material is in French. Majority of correspondence is written on postcards.

This collection is comprised of the personal papers of Boykin Wright. Collection materials include business, financial, and personal correspondence, financial records, legal records from Wright's work as a judge, as well as maps and newspaper clippings. The majority of the collection is comprised of Wright's correspondence with family members, particuarly during WWI.

This collection is comprised of the military discharge certificate of John Hales Bufford, as well as a printed sheet of biographical information on Bufford (dated 1977), and a single photograph of Bufford during his WWI military service.

Abstract Robert Walton Jr (1894-1987) was born in Augusta, Georgia on January 22, 1894, the son of Lucy Eleanor Wilson Walton and Robert Walton. He entered the United States Army at the age of 23 in 1917. He received his initial training at Camp Gordon (Atlanta), and was ultimately commissioned a Second Lieutenant on August 15, 1917 in the infantry of the 82nd "All American" Division.
