Fort Gordon cemeteries project records
Scope and Contents
This collection is comprised of an index on 4x6 cards, of the Fort Gordon cemeteries, as well as 3 folders of archival materials related to the index project. Records were created by a project in the 1980s to document cemeteries located on Fort Gordon Army Base prior to closure of the area to public access. The Cemeteries surveyed included the Colley, Holley, Avrett family, Luckey, and Reeves cemeteries. Illustrations accompany each index entry.
