Biographical or Historical Information
Roger W. Davis is a practicing landscape architect in Augusta Georgia and is located at 120 5th Street. He is the founder of Davis Design Group is a Landscape Architecture and Construction company. It was established in 1969 by Roger W. Davis and was named Roger W. Davis Landscape Architect, Inc. until March 2000 when the construction division was added and the name change implemented to represent a growing and full service company. The firm's prime experience and specialty lies in the areas of aesthetic site planning and park and landscape design. The firm has accomplished planning for projects as small as a few acres to as large as several hundred acres. This company has been responsible for intensive work on the Riverwalk Augusta, Augusta Common, South Augusta Diamond Lakes Athletic Complex and the City of North Augusta, South Carolina's Main Street, as well as the Master Plan of Lake Olmstead Park and the Phase II development of the Augusta State University History Walk.
