Biographical or Historical Information
The Mary Warren Home, located at 2109 Central Avenue in Augusta, Georgia, was established in 1903 as a home for impoverished women and children. The organization moved to it's current building at 2109 Central Avenue in 1915, as the need for space increased. The building was designed by a local architect, G. Lloyd Preacher. The organization continued to care for and house widowed and low-income women until 1994, and later served as a personal care home.
