This collection is comprised of the single leatherbound photo album (9"x23") containing black and white photographs of Salubrity Hall. Cover of scrapbook is engraved in gold with the name of the original owner of the house, John Warne Herbert III.

Biographical or Historical Information
John Warne Herbert III (1899-1942) was the son of John Warne Herbert, Jr. and Olivia Antoinette Helme. Herbert was a Captain in the U.S. military. He married Josephine Graf. John Warne Herbert III died in Papua New Guinea on November 24, 1942 and was buried in Manila, in the Phillipines.
Herbert's mother, Olivia, was involved in the St. George Episcopal Church, the Herbert House for Homeless Children, and the Gertrude Herbert Memorial Institute of Art, which was named after her daughter, John Warne Hebert III's sister.
