Harper C. Bryson & Co. was a 19th-century business located in Augusta, Georgia, that operated as a cotton factor and commission merchant. Active during the mid-1830s and early 1840s, the company played a role in Augusta's growing importance as a major inland cotton market. The business focused on the logistical and financial management of the cotton trade, handling accounts and transactions for local growers and buyers
