Abstract
in World War II,Million Dollar Luncheons were held across the country to promote buying war bonds to finance the war. This luncheon would have been an event in the first war bond tours as part of the Stars Over America campaign. The US was divided into regions and Hollywood stars were assigned to teams to help promote war bonds.
