This material was donated to the Augusta Richmond County Historical Society (ARCHS) by the Augusta Museum of History in October of 1977. The letters were originally donated to the Museum by various donors, including: Frank B. Rheney, James R. Randall, and W.H. Goodrich. It was accessioned as a collection in March, 2019.
