The Augusta Richmond County Historical Society has a large amount of ephemeral material related to the history of the local area of Augusta and the Central Savannah River Area. The Local history vertical files collection contains information on a range of local organizations, families, and individuals. Most files contain pamphlets, newspaper clippings, photographs, correspondence, and/or photocopies of historical documents. The collection is no longer being actively added to, but can serve as a historical resource for topics related to the history of the Augusta area.
