The Augusta Richmond County Historical Society has a large amount of ephemeral material about the genealogy of Augusta families. The Genealogy vertical files collection contains information on a range of families, family names, and individuals. Most files contain pamphlets, newspaper clippings, genealogy research or charts, correspondence concerning genealogy research, and/or photocopies of historical documents. The collection is no longer being actively added to, but can serve as a historical resource for topics related to genealogy, and the history of Augusta area families.
