This item is labeled 6533 but is in folder 6531. STATE OF GEORGIA, Richmond County. In person appeared before me J. A. Sims, who being duly sworn deposes and says that on or about August 1st, 1910, Maurice Walton executed and delivered to him a bond for titles conditioned to convey to him a lot of land in the City of Augusta, formerly the VIllage of Semmerville, fronting Eighty (80) feet on the South side of William Street, between Katherine and Hall Streets and being the westernmost posrtion of Lot Number Two (#2) on a plat of lots recorded in Book 6X page 280; upon the payment of his not of $1975.00. Deponent says that said bond for titles has been lost or mislaid, and he is unable to find it, and he swears positively that no transfer or assignment of said bond for titles has ever been made by him to any person, and no person other than himself has any interest therein. Deponent says that he has requested the said Maurice Walton to execute and deliver to Mrs. Alic K. Morris a deed to the property described in said bond for titles, he having sold said property to Mrs. Morris. And deponent makes this affidavit in order tat the said Maurice Walton may convey the title and the said Mrs. Alice K. Morris purchase the same freed from all claim on the part of this deponent or any person under the bond for titles above mentioned. Upon the execution and delivry of the deed from the said Maurice Walton to Mrs. Alice K. Morris the said bond for titles shall be considered as cancelled and fully satisfied. Signed J. A.
