Scope and Contents
State of Georgia Richmond County} This Indenture, made the 17th day of July A.D. 1903, between W. C. Sibley of the County and State aforesaid, and the Union Savings Bank, a banking corporation of said County and State. Witnesseth: That said Sibley, for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and seventy two ($372.00) dollars, to him in hand well and truly pay said bank, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt wherof is hereby acknowledged, does hereby give, grant, bargain, convey and confirm unto said bank, its successors and assigns: all that tract of land in the County and State aforesaid in the 119th District containing 124 acres, beginning at a corner on lands of A.S. Campbell and Clarence B. Clark, running S 19 3/4, W 2250, thence N84, E500; thence S76 E 200; thence along the line of Carr S 55, W 1200; thence along the line of Chavous S 16, E 300; thence along the line of Rennerson, N80, E 2300; thence S 51 1/2, E 620; thence along the line of Walker, N5 1/2, E 1507; thence along the line f Campbell, N52, W2613, as shown on a plan hereto annexed and made a part hereof, made by D.V. Reeves, County Surveyor, July 1903. Said tract of land being bounded, North by lands now or formerly of A.S. Campbell; East by lands formerly of Walker now Ann R. Campbell; South by lands of W.H. Rennison, West by land of Clarence B. Clark, Eva W. Carr and Mike Chavous. The land herewith intended to be conveyed, being a portion of the land conveyed by Antoine Picquet to Emline Sibley , by deed dated Sep. 3, 1873, recorded in the Clerk's office, Superior Court, said County, Book 3 D's page 583, and also being a portion of the land conveyed by the Sheriff of Richmond County by deed of the first day of September 1896, recorded in Book 5 G's page 511 of said office; And being the same tract of land conveyed by Charles H. Sibley, administrator of Eliza J.G. Sibley to William C. Sibley by deed dared July 17, 1903, recorded herewith, and by the heirs of Emeline W. Sibley, quit-claim July 17, 1903 to all of which deeds and plat reference is hereby made for a more accurate description. Together with all and singular, the rights, members, hereditaments and appurtenances unto the said tract of land, being, belonging or in anywise incident or appertaining. To Have and To Hold the aforesaid lot of land unto the said Union Savings Bank, it successors and assigns in fee-simple forever. And the said E. C. Sibley will warrant and forever defend unto said bank its successors and assigns the aforesaid tract of land, against the lawful claims and demands of all and every person and persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same, or in any part thereof.
