This is my last will and testament I will that my wife Narcissa H. Hair and my youngest Daughter and youngest son NarcLsaa Josephine Hair and Henry macfershion Hair have two hundred aces of land run at the southwest end of my land being on rannals including my new buildings and part of my plantation and six negrose named .illar and bob viniand phillis maderson ... nancy them and their increase and two hed of horses worth 75 dollars each 5 cows calfs ten hed of hogs two beds and furniture and one half of the other furniture of house and kitchen and two hundred bushels of corn 2 stack of foder 5 hundred wate of pork 2 barrels and this and above named to remain my wifes her widihood or life time and then to go to Narcissa Josephine Hair and Henry macfershion Hair to be theirs and their own. forever and that tract of land where my daughter mary is now living and the negro girl named lisar 4 hed of catle and bed and furniture wich of vallew at 7 hundred dollars to be hers and the lawful arse of her body forever and when James Samuel jane Joseph ellen ervin jerinin .laurel and when these 8 married each gets 7 hundred dollars woth and the youngest of them edicated and my just Ee debts paid what remains of my estate be egualy devided between my 9 oldest arst July 121841 James Walton Hair and John Hair be my administrators but my wife to remain with my little children as long as she will and keep them in subjection and take care of them for me David Hair Page 2: South Carolina written twice Page 3: A typewritten transcript of the will almost the same as what is written above with a few corrections in this record.
