Text: STATE of Georgia Screven County Received of George H. Maner the sum of four hundred dollars in part payment of thirteen different Tracts of land situate lying and being in the County + State aforesaid and adjoining each other and containing in the aggregate Thirty nine hundred acres adjoining lands (at this time) of Hohn L Shaiver William Gibbons and others; which said several tracts of land are owned by John W Reynolds, Wm H Reynolds, Joseph S Reynolds and Kames M. Reynolds and I do hereby obligate myself to forgo to the said George H Maner his Hers Executors and assigns the sum of one thousand dollars should I fail to execute to him his heirs executors or administrators a full and forceful title or titles to the said tracts of land on or before the twentieth of October next. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 30th day of April 1829. in the presence of (The name John W Reynolds inserted before signing) Theo Glascock acknowledged before me Seaborn Goodall Signed Geo W.
