Text: Georgia, Washington County Surveyed on the seventeenth day of May 1831 in compliance with a Warrant dated on the second day of May 1831 for Gabriel Harrison who resides in this State, a Tract of Three hundred and twenty five acres, - roods, and - poles of Land, bounded South E by Matthews' land South by Tauntons' land + S.W. by Knights' land Executed by D.S. Page 2: STATE OF GEORGIA. By His Excellency Wilson Lumpkin Governor and Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of this State, and of the Militia thereof. TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME, GREETING: KNOW Y, That in pursuance of an Act for opening the Land Office, and by virtue of the powers in me vested, I have given and granted, and by htese presents, in the name and behalf of the said State, DO GIVE AND GRANT unto Gabriel Harrison his heirs and assigns forever, all that Tract or parcel of Land, containing three hundred and twenty five Acresl situate, lying and being in the county of Washington in the said State; and butting and bounding South E by Matthew's land and south by Taunton's land and S.W. by Knight's land. Having such form, shape and marks, as appear by a plat of the same hereunto annexed; together with all and singular the rights, members, and appurtenances thereof, whatsoever, to the said Tract or parcel of Land, belonging, or in any wise appertainingl and also all the estate, right, title interest, claim, and demand, of the State aforesaid, of, in, to, or out of the same. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said Tract or parcel of Land, and all and singular the premises aforesaid with, heir and every of their rights, members, and appurtenances, unto the said Gabriel Harrison his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper uuse, and behoof forever in fee simple. Given under my hand and the Great Seal of the said State, this twenty ninth day of March in the tear eighteen hundred and thirty two and of the Independence of the United States of America the fifty sixth.
