Settlement Warrant for Turpin D'Antignac against James Primrose, 1828, 3 July 1830

 Item — Box: 1
Identifier: Item 2763

Scope and Contents

This is an order for settlement. The Sheriff is the collection agent for the settlement, but this is what the ruling of damages for the plaintive looks like in the 1800's. The defendant either brings the money, or the sheriff sells any property he owns at auction on the courthouse steps.
