Abstract

Augusta Richmond County Historical Society's project was t add to the Veterans History Project maintained by the Library of Congress. Oral histories have been collected since 2007.  The World War II phase of the project was declared officially closed in 2012 though World War II interviews are still being deposited.  The Korean Conflict (War) phase was started soon after the close of the original projects and continues to collect interviews.
