A New Map of Georgia: with part of Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana.
Abstract
This map may have originally been printed about 200 years ago. There is an abstract on the back of the frame which describes the areas pictured in relation to the Indians then occupying the lands. Map shows roads, settlements, areas of Native American habitation, and military outposts in the southeastern portion of the North American continent, and was created by Emanuel Bowen

Biographical or Historical Information
Emanuel Bowen (c. 1694-1767) was an English map engraver, who worked for George II of England and Louis XV of France as a geographer. Bowen sold his maps in London during the 1700s, and had a son, Thomas Bowen, who took over the business upon Emanuel Bowen's death.
